UKPDD 1st May

UK Pole Dance Day.

Conceived by the Equity Pole Dancers’ Working Party back in 2009, UKPDD is a yearly event aimed at uniting the pole dance community and to celebrate pole dancing in the wider community. Traditionally the first of May celebrates the start of Spring when girls would dance around a may pole. UKPDD is a celebration of pole dance as an art form of dance and a creative way of keeping fit. Under the umbrella of the Pole Dance Community a celebration of Pole Dancing will be taking place nationally in the UK on the 1 May.
